This picture is my trophy.
I could donate $10,000 to a university and hang a fancy certificate on my office wall. I could sponsor a gala, put on a sports coat and polished shoes, and accept an award for being one of the fastest-growing companies in the city.
But that’s never been what success means to me.
When I started Pulse Excavating, I made myself one promise: if people worked hard, stayed loyal, and helped build this company, I’d make sure they shared in the success.
Seeing my guys buy homes, support their families, take vacations, and enjoy a better quality of life because of the opportunities we’ve created together—that’s the recognition I’m proud of.
This “SOLD” sign isn’t just about a house. It’s proof that hard work pays off and that when a company invests in its people, everyone wins.
My goal has never been to build the biggest company or simply enrich myself. My goal has always been to build a company where good people can build good lives for themselves and their families.
To every member of the Pulse Excavating team: thank you. Your hard work, loyalty, and dedication are the reason this company continues to grow. I hope there are many more “SOLD” signs, family vacations, and milestones ahead.
This is the only trophy I’ll ever need.
