One of our bi-weekly clients has this beautiful Little Free Library in their front yard, and it always catches our eye. 📚

We’ve been wanting to add lights around our deck for a while, and we’re so glad we finally did! ✨

A huge shout-out to Aidan, with a little help from Papa Hull, for bringing the vision to life. They did a fantastic job, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

It’s amazing how a simple project can completely change the feel of an outdoor space.

Bonus: they ended up extending out deck slightly to be able to accommodate our outdoor heating lamp (to be used in the fall.)

Our client had been away for several weeks, and Mother Nature had definitely been busy while they were gone.

We helped out once they got back, tackling weeds that had popped up between the patio stones, along the walkways, and throughout the garden beds. It may not be the most glamorous job, but the difference it makes is huge!

A little cleanup goes a long way in making an outdoor space feel welcoming again.

To all of our clients scheduled this week, we want to say a big thank you for your patience! 🌱

The extreme heat and poor air quality caused by the wildfires north of us have meant we’ve had to postpone a few jobs.

As much as we’d like to keep working through it, the health and safety of our crew come first. Working outdoors for hours in these conditions simply isn’t safe.

We’re doing our best to reschedule everyone as quickly as possible and appreciate your understanding and flexibility.

Not every job goes exactly as planned… and today was one of those days. 🌱

We started working for a new client who recently moved into their home. Unfortunately, the previous homeowner had let the backyard become overgrown, with weeds everywhere and vines woven throughout the decorative rock beds.

We spent hours clearing weeds, pulling vines, and bringing the yard back under control. We were almost finished when we reached the back corner of the yard…

🐝 Surprise! A hidden hornets’ nest.

Before we even realized it was there, one of our crew members had been stung twice. Thankfully, he’ll be okay, but safety always comes first.

After speaking with the homeowner, we’ve decided to pause the job until the hornets’ nest has been removed. Once it’s safe, we’ll be back to finish the last section and leave the backyard looking its best.

Running an outdoor business means you never know what you’ll find hidden in a yard! Today was a good reminder that sometimes the safest decision is to stop and come back another day.

We’re looking forward to sharing the finished transformation soon! 🌱✌️:
