Are you dreading coming home to an ice cold house (or waking up to it!) because your wood fire died? For those of you with a wood stove, that warmth from your fire is SO nice but the piercing cold when you come home (or when you wake up!) and your fire is OUT, is not so nice! Get yourself a back up plan now… a heat pump!! You can get a heat pump installed and set it to your ideal temperature, and when that fire goes out, as it will when you’re at work all day, you’ll still be able to come home to a nice, warm home. When you put your fire on again, your heat pump won’t turn on until the temperature in your home goes below the ideal temperature that you’ve set, so don’t worry about it running the whole time you’re gone, or while you’ve got your wood stove going! The convenience is priceless!
If you’ve already GOT a heat pump, get it serviced! Having your HVAC specialist look at your system, you can rest assured that your CLEAN heat pump will function at its best and remain efficient. They can also identify small issues that could become BIGGER and more COSTLY issues later on, therefore extending the life of your unit AND keeping money in your pocket.

Another multiple-unit heat pump installation complete! The Dollar Store in Doaktown is among the "coolest" places to visit this summer! I want to say a big thanks to the owner for the ongoing relationship of trust and commitment to local businesses. Also, a huge shout out to Peter Gaddess and his team at Grand Lake Machine Shop at TRACC for constructing the aluminum stands for the outdoor units.

The Holy Rosary Hall is going to be an even "cooler" place to hang out now that brand new heat pumps have been installed! I would like to shout out a huge thank you to the Catholic Church for trusting Hometown Heating and Cooling with this installation, to Matt Moore and Wolseley in Fredericton for supplying the equipment and to Mike Pilling and his company MJS Electric for doing a great job with the electrical work.
