Sometimes what you can’t see behind the walls matters most.

This Medicine Hat renovation started with a lot of old, leaking valves and questionable drains. We replaced underground plumbing for a new bathroom, upgraded the kitchen stack, and re-piped the vanity and laundry tub. Multiple saddle valves—common leak points—are gone for good. Sometimes the best upgrades happen out of sight, deep in the heart of a home.

We replaced an older furnace and A/C setup in Medicine Hat with a high-efficiency two-stage unit. Older heating and hot water systems can really show their age when the cold sets in.

For this home in Dunmore, we removed the old furnace and hot water tank, making room for a high-efficiency Trane furnace and a new 40-gallon Rheem tank. Every connection, from fresh air intake to the venting, was handled with care. Bringing new kitchen equipment online is never just about plugging it in.

For this project in Bow Island, we handled the full installation and commissioning of Garland gas ranges. That meant positioning the units, connecting the gas lines, testing every joint for leaks, and fine-tuning the burners. Every new build starts with the groundwork. This week in Medicine Hat, we dug in on a project that called for careful trenching and precise piping in the mechanical room.

We handled garage drainage, set lines below grade, and centered everything to fit the layout. The sump barrel came out and a trapped-backwater valve went in so inspectors can sign off with confidence. We left the water supply open for now while we sort out the sump situation, making sure nothing gets rushed.
