The celebrations continue this Saturday at the market. Our vendors are leaning into the spirit of Carnaval with traditional French Canadian–inspired favourites like 🥧tarte à la sucre by Bette Bakes , 🍲hearty split pea soup with ham from EuroClaire French Fusion , 🍕pizza Québécoise courtesy of Fogo Fresh and more.

Here’s our menu:
Sourdough Pizza dough $6
Homemade pizza Sauce $3 (makes 1 pizza)
Sourdough Baguette $6
Jumbo Sourdough Cinnamon Buns (2) $10
Tallow Soap (lemon, cinnamon sugar, oatmeal) $6
Beeswax lip balm $5
Vanilla foot salve $10

“Churrasco” Pizza … Here’s a cool recipe idea for our one-of-a-kind sourdough pizza dough. Don’t miss our loop next week

JAN 22 (Mon): Powassan, East Ferris, Callander, North Bay
JAN 23 (Tue): Bonfield, Rutherglen, Mattawa

Recipe Ingredients:

Making Chimichurri …
ÂĽ cup EVO
2 tbsp Red wine vinegar
3 cloves Colossal garlic
½ cup Curly (Italian) parsley
2 ½ tsp Fresh oregano
2 Small red chilis
1 tsp Kosher salt
ÂĽ tsp Freshly ground pepper

Dressing the pizza …
1 Pizza dough, stretched to 13”
ÂĽ Cup Chimichurri (above)
250g Rib Eye Steak (Prime, highly marbled)
1 tbsp Blackening Rub
100g Scarmoza (or substitute Fior di latte)
Fresh Oregano
