On October 15, 2026, FortisBC's NEW dual-fuel heating rebates are now available when you upgrade to a high-efficiency heat pump + gas furnace .

$4,000 residential rebate
$8,000 for income-qualified customers

Eligibility
---------
- Gas furnace that's at least 15 years old
- FortisBC customers whose home is heated mainly by natural gas
- Year-round primary residence ( house, townhouse, duplex or mobile home on a permanent foundation )
- No heat pump in the home already
- Units must be listed as an eligible system on the Qualified Dual Fuel Systems List
