It all started out when I picked some old barn siding from a local farm site to add some character to our basement renovation. The look, feel, and smell of the century old wood when I cut into it and the end result of my project, knowing that I had a piece of Saskatchewan history built into my home was priceless. Old barns, abandoned houses, and outbuildings pepper the Saskatchewan landscape, each

with a unique story to tell. My mission - to let the story continue by dismantling these buildings and giving the wood and hardware a new purpose.
