Let’s see your egg baskets ?!
Mine have been a little light with the areal thieves but my net came last night. Once this rain lets up I will be covering the entire compound.
Also cosmo is sure getting beautiful. I love her colors 😍 and the big Egyptian type eyes are stunning. Do you. Have a favourite chick ?

We have ordered 200 meat birds this year. Were later then usual but it’s been a hectic spring.
These babies usually sell out in one day so if you’re wanting to get on the list please text me 7809082177 and let me know how many you want.
I did purchase chicks from a local farm not a hatchery so prices are $5/lb
Little toothless is warming up. He does like to snuggle but still a little shy. It will take a bit I’m sure. I also think it will help to have siblings around so hopefully we can catch them today.

I’m excited to see little peppers. I have NEVER successfully grown peppers. These are thriving in the raised bed. Even with all the rain and wind.
And it’s a good thing since I opened my last jar of salsa 😭clearly I didn’t make enough and will have to make an extra batch this year.
How are you canning levels? Still lots? Almost out? Born dry ?

This boy got his first experience with a porcupine. Only two quills luckily but poor guy. He’s such a guppy I thought he would be hard to get them out but he was actually pretty good. I’m sure it felt better after I got some salve on him.
