It’s a wrap!
Laird Landscapes is officially done for the season — and what a season it was. I say it often, but I truly am so proud of what we’ve built here. Not just the beautiful lawns and gardens we maintain, but the heart behind the work. This business was designed so I could be a mom first — to see my kids off in the morning, be there to cook them dinner at night, and still do work I love in between. Every year we grow a little more, not just in size but in spirit, bringing on more women and more mothers who share that same balance of grit, laughter, and family-first values.
The 2025 season was an absolute blast, and before we hang up the gloves for winter, I want to take a moment to thank some very special people:
Julie Bailey — truly one of my favourite humans. I’m so lucky to not only have you as a co-worker, but to call you family. You bring sunshine, laughter, hard work, and (yes) the best treats to every shift. I get excited every time I see your name on the schedule — and not just because of the snacks. Thank you for your effort this season, and for your love and friendship always.
Sydney Grace — girl. My right hand. Thank God for you. You kept me organized and balanced all season long, often in ways you didn’t even have to. You are meant for big things, and I cannot wait to see where life takes you. Thank you for your commitment, your incredible capability, your friendship, and all the adorable pictures of baby Charlie.
Noah Amelotte — my sweet boy who is somehow turning into a man right in front of my eyes. You make me proud every single day, but watching your commitment to hard work, to details that matter, and to building this business right alongside me… I don’t even have words for how grateful I am. I only get a few more summers with you before you spread your wings and chase your own dreams, so you can bet I’m going to soak up every second.
To all our amazing clients, big and small — thank you for another incredible year. Your support, loyalty, and referrals have kept us fully booked for the last two seasons, and I cannot thank you enough. You’re the reason we get to do what we love.
And now… I rest.
🖤
