Community Notification: Planned Flaring

LNG Canada advises that a planned flaring event will occur between June 18th and June 20th with a flare height of approximately 10 - 20 metres with associated noise and visible emissions.

Flaring is a provincially regulated safety measure that ensures the controlled, efficient combustion of natural gas during specific operational phases. It is a critical part of safely operating a facility of this scale and is not expected to be routine during regular operation.
