Working again today on the Twin Mountains Snowmobile Club trails to continue cutting compromised trees from last year’s ice storm. Lots of birch as usual and other snapped and hung up trees. Considering volunteering for your local club as they can always use and appreciate the help!

Thanks for the grapple assist on this gnarly 10 white pine removal in between 2 cottages. Got 9/10 done - ran out of daylight and reach! Doing the 10th the old school way. Got an immense amount of work done and super proud of the crew for the hustle. Also thanks to for coming by 8am to pick up all the logs we had stacked as it made life easy. And Brandon Pearce's Tree Service for the help and coming out for old times sake 🤟🏼

Had a great time at the 10th anniversary conference/celebration for Women In Wood! It was a privilege to assist in hosting the chainsaw basics workshop with my old co worker and good friend Cole. Got to meet new friends and see familiar faces on a day all about empowering women in the forestry and arboriculture industry! A day much needed. Endless appreciation to the organizers, sponsors and funding provided to make this day happen.

Always a great time reconnecting and working with friends that we worked with before starting our own businesses! Thanks for the help Brandon - Pearce’s Tree Service for the use of your spider lift. This dead poplar had some bad horizontal cracks and was not safe to climb. Too tight for the bucket truck but a perfect fit for the spider! Always love spending time with Brandon!

“Unsung Heroes” took 2nd place at Kinmount Fair 2025! As a former helitack forest firefighter, John was inspired to create this piece to commemorate the hardworking forest firefighters of Ontario! This summer we had a forest fire very close to home so this piece seemed very fitting for his 2025 piece! Very proud and happy to see it go to a home of a person who manages and works directly with aviation/forest firefighting services! Until next year! That’s a wrap on Kinmount Fair 2025

Another large white pine removal with limited access. This tree was nearly touching the side of the building. After some roof damage due to the ice storm and limbs dropping, it was best that it came down as it had really outgrown it’s space.

We removed this large, double stem white pine on Head Lake. After a lot of ice storm damage and close proximity to their glass railing and building, it was decided that this one was to be removed. We did an assessment of the several other large pine and hemlock around the building and after some consideration, this one was just too close for comfort in the prevailing winds. All debris and wood removed and a happy customer!

Tricky one removing these multiple snapped birch tops over a staircase, pergola/boathouse roof. The trees were growing out of an embankment, so access for rigging was poor. We locked off the tops and rigged small pieces down that we were able to pull out onto the stairs, followed by some teamwork of pulling out the wood that was roped down.
