We’re playing around with some ideas for wrapping the Thompson Construction truck and trailer next spring, and we’d like your opinion!

We’ve narrowed it down to three different styles. These are just rough concepts, not the final designs.

We’re looking for something that stands out, looks good on the road and represents Thompson Construction.

There’s a lot that happens between demolition and the finished product — and when it’s your home, that part matters too.

At this stage, the new floor was installed, the vanity and toilet were functional, the walls were primed, and we were moving into the remaining finish work.

As each part of the bathroom was completed, it was protected again before we moved on. New tile was covered. The vanity was wrapped. The toilet was protected. The goal was to keep finished work finished while the rest of the renovation continued around it.

A renovation doesn’t stop affecting your home just because demolition is over.

How the house is treated, how usable it stays, and how the work is managed along the way are all part of the job.

The finished bathroom matters.

The experience getting there should too.

This camp got new drywall and needed all new trim.

After deciding on pine, and giving it all a good sanding, we installed it around the windows, doors and openings, with new baseboards throughout.

Before the trim could go on, a few areas of drywall needed to be addressed. That meant creating some extra mess and dust, so the kitchen was closed off and the floors were protected. The saws stayed outside, and the mess was kept contained as much as possible.

Once everything was trimmed out, the space got a full cleanup and the job was done.

This bathroom had been on their list for a long time.

It was dated, but more importantly, the layout didn’t fit how they actually used the room.

They wanted more usable space, and a second tub they rarely used was the easy choice to remove.

So instead of designing the new bathroom around something they didn’t need, we changed the layout.

The old tub and shower came out, the plumbing was changed for the new layout, and the bathroom was rebuilt with a new 60” x 36” corner shower.

A bathroom renovation doesn’t have to preserve a layout that no longer fits how you actually use the room.

Even though Muraluxe shower panels are 100% waterproof, we still waterproof the walls behind them.

CRACKED TILE & GROUT??
Even though tile can be installed without an uncoupling membrane, we install one anyway to help protect against future movement and reduce the risk of cracked tile.
