We're excited to be building the Winter Bay Oyster Hatchery! This is such an important investment in the future of the oyster industry and we're very proud to be part of it.

Raspberry Point Oysters is excited to announce a new partnership with Julie Davis and North Shore Oysters on the Winter Bay Oyster Hatchery in Corran Ban, PEI.
This collaboration brings together the strengths, expertise, and shared vision in the future of the oyster industry on PEI. We break ground this week on our new facility, with planned production of MSX resistant seed for early 2027. The Winter Bay Oyster Hatchery has been designed to build on the availability of resistant seed, to support a thriving PEI oyster industry once again.

Chosen by Landon Graham, May’s donation is proudly being made to Camp Triumph, located in Malpeque.

Camp Triumph provides a unique camp experience for children from across Canada who have a family member living with a chronic illness or disability. They recognize that the illness of one family member significantly affects the entire family, especially the children.

Their programs help children learn how to cope with and overcome adversity, conflicting emotions, and anxiety while building resilience and confidence. Through adventure-based summer residential camps, children are given the opportunity to take a break from the stresses of everyday life and build meaningful friendships with others who truly understand their experiences.

We’re wishing the staff and campers a fun and memorable summer!

Sending a huge congratulations to Cassandra today as she graduates from the Heritage Restoration Carpentry program at Holland College!

Cass completed her OJT with us in April and has continued on with the team ever since. She’s been a great addition to the crew, and we’re excited for her future in the trade!

Our April donation, selected by team member AJ Warren, is going to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation in support of the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre.

The PEI Cancer Treatment Centre provides specialized care and support for adults facing cancer. Supporting local healthcare means investing in the people and teams who are there every day, delivering exceptional care when it matters most for ourselves, our loved ones, and our fellow Islanders.

We hope this contribution plays a small part in helping patients and families access the care they need, close to home here on PEI, during what is sure to be an incredibly challenging time.

Today is a big day at Built-Rite Construction!

Sam Pastoor has been an important part of our team for over three years as an apprentice, and today marks his very first day onsite as a Red Seal Carpenter!

A huge congratulations to Sam for completing his apprenticeship and successfully passing his Red Seal exam. This is a major milestone in his career, and we’re all so excited for him.
