Well, said Larry! Not to mention other portable units just don’t design for the total square footage of a Basement & crawlspace and typically don’t provide air filtration. The right unit for the right environment will ensure below 50% relative humidity, which is necessary for your below grade space!

Excellent illustration and definition Larry! People should understand that the problem truly never goes away just the seasons change. In the winter time that’s when dry rot started to occur, meaning structural problems and costly repairs & in the summertime mold thriving & healthcare concerns that can become life-threatening!

Peter Stuart Smith thank you Peter. I really appreciate your testimony! I really wish the government would get on board & make internal waterproofing mandatory building code. It would save Canadian homeowners millions of dollars a year due to seepage, as it hasn’t covered by insurance companies since 2005.
