Crane days are always fun. We removed a handful of dead Pines beside a daycare and every so often the kids would wander out and stare in disbelief 😳 haha

Another day in the life of an arborist 😎🫡

Never underestimate the value of a good rope man!

Had to carefully rig down every piece of this tree to avoid damaging the driveway, retaining wall and other trees below. Very fortunate to have such a great crew! 😎

A windstorm partially uprooted this Pine overnight. We quickly determined it wasn’t safe to put a climber in the tree and use a crane to piece it out, so we directionally fell it away from the house… at the expense of the shed 😅. It was damaged beyond repair anyway so the owner gave us the green light!

We got the call to remove a few trees at the top of a small cliff. Had to get creative getting them down as we didn’t want to dislodge more rocks 😅

After a forest fire in 2021, we were called the following spring to remove some of the dead standing trees above a community of houses along Okanagan Lake. The trees were situated on a steep bank so we used a crane to safely hoist them to the top where they were processed. Just another day!

Throwback to about 7 years ago when we got a call from the Regional District to remove a dead bear about 60ft up a tree near a provincial campsite. Poor guy was tranquilized and the plan was to relocate him, but he ran up a tree and fell asleep awkwardly on a branch, which unfortunately cut off his air supply. We climbed the tree, set a rigging point above him, and safely lowered him to the ground.
