A Lifetime of Giving. A Moment to Give Back.
Some people spend their lives making a difference without ever asking for recognition.
Ed and Gloria are two of those people.
For decades, they've opened their home and their hearts to foster children, offering love, stability, and a place to belong when it was needed most.
And they did all of this while raising a family of their own.
Their journey wasn't without sacrifice. There were times when their own children had to share their parents' time, attention, and love with children who had so little. It wasn't always easy to understand, but it was a lesson in compassion that would stay with their family for a lifetime.
Perhaps no one understands that journey better than their daughter, who nominated them for this year's Lennox Feel the Love program.
Through that nomination, our team at Coral Home Comfort was given the privilege of coming together to recognize two people who have spent so much of their lives caring for others.
What made this experience so special wasn't the work we completed. It was witnessing the genuine gratitude of two people who never expected anything in return.
Ed and Gloria, this was never about charity. It was about appreciation, respect, and recognizing a lifetime of kindness and sacrifice.
You've spent so many years making life better for others. It was an honour to come together and make life a little better for you.
This is your story, Ed and Gloria. And it's one that deserves to be told.
