In 2014, Grow A Row started in Kamloops when Garth Buchko Introduced it to Lyons Landscaping - starting with five raised beds. In two short years, it has now grown to 29 raised beds to be built at its new location in front of Home Hardware on Josep Way. olved by sponsoring a Garden Bed. For $1,000.00, you will have a pre-constructed planter bed with your business name on it. The sponsor will also have the option of partaking in the building phase! The planting phase will be an exciting one that respective employees and family members can all take part of! Your efforts of building a stronger community will be recognized with personalized signage for each planter box. By year's end, you will have priority and option to renew your planter box for the following year. Community involvement and volunteers are highly encouraged in order to help keep the garden beds healthy and growing. The goal is to provide fresh homegrown vegetables for those in need and raise awareness to end hunger within Kamloops and surrounding regions!
