🌱A Little Brad Appreciation Post 💚The Heart Behind Lively Lawns 🌱
While many people know the name Lively Lawns, fewer know the story of the man who has dedicated years of hard work to helping it grow.
Brad's journey in landscaping started as a young man working on a golf course right here in Kamloops. He pursued education in turf management and landscaping, developing a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.
Life took him down different paths for a time, but eventually brought him back home. When a friend, John Lively, was ready to step away from his landscaping business, Brad took a chance and carried it forward. Out of respect and love for John and the history behind the company, he kept the name Lively Lawns, a name we're proud to carry today.
Over the years, Brad has grown the business into what it is now, incorporating it as Lively Lawns Ltd. and building it through hard work, determination, and an unwavering commitment to our clients.
But what truly makes Brad special isn't the business itself.
It's his willingness to do whatever needs to be done.
Whether he's mowing lawns, repairing irrigation systems, maintaining equipment, meeting with clients, helping the crew, solving problems, or putting in long hours behind the scenes, he leads by example every single day.
At 57, the work isn't any easier. The days are long, the jobs are physical, and the responsibilities never stop. Yet he continues to show up with the same dedication and work ethic that helped build this company.
Lively Lawns isn't just a business to Brad, it's something he's poured his heart into for years.
Today, we wanted to take a moment to recognize the hard work, sacrifices, and passion that make this company what it is.
