Due to our growing demand, we are looking to hire an ambitious and dedicated Carpenter-framer-laborer, jack of all trades who is wanting to learn who is looking to pursue a full-time position and a part-time position with a well-established employer.
This position is right for you if you have previous wood frame building experience. Must have a background in the field, must be well-organized.
The Carpenter will work under the direction of the Project manager and in conjunction with all relative departments for their area(s) of assignment.
Qualifications
Open-minded, detail-oriented, team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively. Experience in rough and finish carpentry- (trainable)
Looking to participate in an exciting environment and for a smaller company that’s growing.
Position Responsibilities
Some knowledge of Carpentry and knowledge of building construction.
Operation of hand/power tools, and other equipment relevant to Carpentry.
Ability to perform manual labor associated with the trade.
Capable of performing errands as assigned, carry/deliver materials, tools and equipment.
Proper care and attention of tools and equipment.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work unsupervised.
Ability to work effectively in climatic conditions, good manual dexterity, physical strength and stamina.
Good interpersonal skills when working with sub-trades and other team members.
Good understanding of safety policies, and safe work practices.
