Exciting progress is underway at our Arctic Fresh Projects (AFP) construction site in Grise Fiord, Nunavut! π οΈ
As construction continues in Canada's northernmost community, we are proud to be creating meaningful employment and training opportunities for Inuit workers.
Through our Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) employment opportunities, we are bringing Inuit workers from neighbouring Nunavut communities to work alongside our experienced construction team, allowing them to gain valuable hands-on experience, develop their skills, and build careers in the construction trades.
π A special thank you to our dedicated Site Superintendent, Mike Long, and Foreman, Bryan Wolters!
Your leadership, patience, mentorship, and commitment to training our Inuit workforce do not go unnoticed. By taking the time to teach, guide, and support our Inuit employees on-site, you are helping build the next generation of skilled Inuit tradespeople.
At Arctic Fresh Projects, we believe that every construction project should be an opportunity to invest in our people. Our commitment goes beyond completing buildings β it is about creating pathways for Inuit employment, apprenticeships, skills development, and long-term career opportunities throughout Nunavut.
We are incredibly proud of the progress being made in Grise Fiord and grateful to everyone contributing to this project, especially our Inuit workers who are stepping forward to learn, grow, and build their futures in the trades.
