Arctic Fresh Projects is proud to welcome our newest construction crew! Our team recently came together at our Iqaluit office for a comprehensive training and safety orientation as we prepare to begin work on the exciting new office building project on Mivvik Street.

This orientation is an important first step in making sure our crew has the knowledge, tools and confidence to succeed on site — while keeping safety at the forefront of everything we do.

At Arctic Fresh Projects, we believe every project is about more than simply building a structure. It’s about building people, creating opportunities and strengthening our communities.

🏗️ ARCTIC FRESH PROJECTS | GRISЕ FIORD, NUNAVUT 🏔️

Work is officially underway in Grise Fiord, and we are incredibly excited to be part of a project in this beautiful and unique community.

We’re proud to be bringing employment opportunities to the High Arctic and supporting Inuit workers along the way. As the project moves forward, we will also be flying in four Inuit workers from neighbouring communities on a 5 weeks in / 2 weeks out rotation, creating opportunities for Inuit tradespeople to gain valuable experience while contributing to the work happening here at home.

Grise Fiord is truly a special place — incredible scenery, beautiful land, and an abundance of wildlife. But what makes a community is its people, and we are looking forward to building strong relationships and working alongside the community throughout this project. ❤️

📣 Our HR team will be in Grise Fiord next week! We’ll be doing some recruiting and connecting with community members about employment opportunities with Arctic Fresh Projects.

📢 COMMUNITY UPDATE – GJOA HAVEN, NUNAVUT

We regret to announce that the Arctic Fresh BBQ scheduled for August 21, 2026, has been cancelled.

Unfortunately, due to recent flight cancellations and circumstances beyond our control, the BBQ supplies have not arrived in the community in time for the event.

Arctic Fresh Projects has donated all of the BBQ supplies to the community, so once the supplies arrive, the BBQ can be rescheduled for everyone to enjoy. We sincerely apologize for this change in plans and appreciate the community's patience and understanding.

Please follow updates from the Hamlet of Gjoa Haven for information on when the BBQ will be rescheduled. 🍔🌭
