Service call this morning was no power to bedroom lights and a burning smell. We were able to track down this switch that suffered a catastrophic failure from a loose connection and a large draw from the remaining circuit. This is why we don’t use speed loaders on plugs or switches. Take the extra minute to marette the two hot wires together and attach one tail to the switch under the set screw.
