🚜 BACK IN ACTION!
It’s been a busy summer here at Earth Scape Inc., and although we haven’t posted much lately, we certainly haven’t been sitting around! 💪
Our excavator is back and getting ready for the next round of work. We’ve also got our mobile mechanic, Nick Hooper, giving the equipment a thorough once-over to make sure everything is serviced, checked over, and ready to go.
🔧 Keeping our equipment maintained means keeping our jobs moving.
And now that we’re getting back into the swing of things…
👀 We think it’s time to show you what we’ve been up to all summer!
We’ve got plenty of projects, equipment, before-and-afters, and some pretty interesting work to catch you up on.
Stay tuned — we’ve got a lot to show you! 🚜💪

Ever wondered what the difference is between a grader and a land plane? 🤔

Both play an important role in building and maintaining a solid road or driveway—but they shine in different stages of the job.

A grader is the heavy hitter. It’s used for shaping, cutting, and rebuilding a road properly. It can move material, fix drainage, eliminate potholes, and put the right crown on the road so water runs off instead of sitting. This is what you need when the road has problems that keep coming back.

A land plane is the perfect finishing tool. Once the base is built and the road is shaped correctly, a land plane spreads and smooths gravel evenly, leaving a clean, consistent surface. It’s ideal for that final pass to make everything look sharp and drive great.

👉 So which is better?

Truth is—you get the best results when both are used together.

The grader handles the structure and longevity of the road, while the land plane delivers that smooth, professional finish on top. One builds it right, the other makes it look and feel right.

We use the right equipment at the right stage to give you a road that not only looks good—but lasts.

If you’re looking for private road maintenance, we’re fully licensed and insured to handle the job from start to finish—done right, built to last.

Working alongside Kevin Brunton knocking out rock with the excavator while we widened and extended the driveway with the skid steer. Multiple loads brought in to build it up right. This is how you avoid future problems—not just a quick solution.

Last year we took on a major challenge — a deep washout running down this hill that was causing serious erosion and access issues.
We reshaped the grade, stabilized the area, and rebuilt it to properly handle water flow. What was once a problem spot is now solid, clean, and built to last.
Jobs like this are where experience and the right equipment make all the difference.
If you’ve got problem areas on your property — washouts, drainage issues, rough access roads — we can help

Keeping the heat on in our community is a team effort 🔥
At Earth Scape, we take pride in working alongside local propane companies to make sure they can safely access homes—no matter the conditions. From clearing snow-packed roads to sanding icy stretches, we do what it takes to keep routes open and passable.
We’ve also been there when it matters most—towing trucks up slippery hills and pulling them out of ditches—so they can continue their deliveries without delay.
Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about the job… it’s about making sure families stay warm and taken care of.
Reliable. Equipped. Ready when needed.
