This kitchen got a makeover just in time for Easter weekend and is ready for spring with its bright and airy new look! There were many things about the house that our clients loved when they purchased their home 10 years ago, but the kitchen was not one of them.
Some of the lower doors had significant water damage, so we replaced those and sprayed everything to match - tinted to White Dove OC-17 for the perimeter cabinetry and Homestead CC-724 for the island.
We believe that everyone should have a kitchen that is functional, durable and reflects their personality and style - from the prep to the finish work, we do our best to deliver the highest quality finish.

This Saskatoon kitchen got a serious makeover and we love the before and afters our customers sent us ! Their dark maple kitchen had served them well for years and was still in good shape, but they were ready for something lighter and brighter that would give a fresh new vibe.
By keeping their existing quartz counters, switching out their backsplash, and having us professionally refinish their kitchen, they not only saved thousands of dollars, but also the hassle and waste of completely replacing what was already there.
They did have a special request - instead of the open cabinet on one end that stored recipe books etc. and was slightly cluttered, they wanted a custom built-in for a new wine fridge. We were able to do that for them, and you'd never know it wasn't already there!
Their door and drawer faces were gone for about a week and a half - getting throughly cleaned, degreased, sanded and professionally sprayed / refinished in our shop and the "in-house" portion took about two days plus a day for install.

We thoroughly mask everything off in the kitchen, do a deep clean/ degreasing before sanding and spray everything to match! The result is that of a factory finished new kitchen!
We use only industrial grade professional finishes and we stand by our work and love what we do.
Our small team can accomplish big and lasting results! 💛 There is one spot left before Christmas and then we are booking into the New Year.
Quotes are easy - all you need to do is send pictures and we do the rest. If custom work is required, we come and do the measurements and absolutely love delivering tailored and quality results for our customers!

This kitchen was sprayed in our premium cabinet finish and tinted to match by . The island was also tinted to match a Benjamin Moore color called Hearthstone Chimenea 1601.

What a busy summer it's been !
We are so pleased to announce that Hunter has decided to join us full time after being a part time helper since day one 16 years ago!!! :)

Thanks to his love of carpentery and amazing skills, we are now able to offer a full range of customizable options for your kitchen.

Along with being able to refinish or reface your existing cabinetry, the modifications and new additions we can make are almost endless.

Check out this well loved Kindersley kitchen that had already been previously painted!
We removed the corner appliance garage as it wasn't needed, and transformed several cabinet sections from doors to full size deep pull out drawers with soft close glides.

By adding new door and drawer faces... closing in the area between the cabinets and ceiling and adding some crown, soft close hidden hinges and new hardware, this 30yr old kitchen looks and feel brand new !!!
We love how well the new quartz cabinets flow and blend with her color choice of White Dove by Benjamin Moore and how well it goes with their tile flooring.

Our (my) favorite part of this whole upgrade though is their new, solid plywood drawer boxes with the soft close glides - the build is so solid and the overall look and feel completes the look of having a "brand new kitchen ".

Here are some pictures of a kitchen we recently transformed in Briarwood - modifying the island and refinishing the cabinetry and staircase.

After being referred to us by their co workers, our customers reached out to see if we could help bring the vision they had for their kitchen to life - and we are happy to say we did !

We were able to refinish all of their perimeter cabinetry to a clean crisp white (Chantilly Lace) and modified their island from the original two -tiered breakfast bar to a modern full sized island.

The island color is called Smokestack and we think the warm taupe / greige color compliments their new flooring beautifully !
We refinished their staircase to the same color as the island and when you walk into their home now, everything flows.

The kitchen seems more open with the new island layout and we know our customers will be able to enjoy their kitchen for many more years to come !

How much does it cost to refinish a kitchen?
Can you fill old handle holes and drill new ones ?
What are our color options ? What about the curvy old crown molding - is there a way to update that ?
These are all commonly asked questions.

#1 fill her old handle holes and drill new ones giving the option to choose whatever new handles she wanted.
#2 give her a complete new look in the color of her choice for a fraction of the cost of replacing

#3 we replaced her old crown molding with a new and updated crown that completely uplifted the look of her kitchen!!! .
..Even without replacing her counters and backsplash , this kitchen has received a total face-lift, and it looks and feels completely different than the original - even though it has the same organic foot print.

The cabinets look and feel brand new and the finish is second to none ... scrubbable, highly chip resistant, and the feel is what you'd expect in a new high quality kitchen - and it will last for years to come!

This kitchen will forever be close to my heart for so many reasons....
Aside from being located in my hometown of Biggar, this kitchen was originally designed by my clients mother and was the home her family gathered at for many Christmas's. All of her nieces, nephews and children grew up considering this “gramma and grampas house”.
Now that this is her 'new' and forever home, she wanted to do some updates, but also wanted to honor and keep as much of the original cabinetry as possible and keep some of that original heart in the home.
This project was a collaborative effort that involved her vision of what she wanted in her kitchen, with us helping to bring it together, and also having Lenny and Dave from Springwater who we contracted to build her gorgeous island, new doors and also new boxes where needed.
We'd also like to mention her son who helped her tear out the wall that used to separate the kitchen from the dining room, and our client herself who was super excited to do alot of the initial cabinet removal.
Many adjustments were made along the way as the vision started to come alive and we all worked together to make it as perfect as possible.
We re-purposed as many original boxes as we could..
We added new crown molding, sprayed all new doors / boxes/ crown and existing boxes to match and for the same price as what she was quoted for a brand new basic kitchen....she also got an extra room of cabinetry in what will be her wine and coffee bar, as well as her amazing custom hood fan! All drawers are soft close and solid pre - finished plywood (only adding to the custom finishing).
We love this kitchen so much, because so much love existed before, and we were able to help extend that love into future generations and were also able to help keep a part of what her mother originally created alive.
Our client also had a vision for a warm, custom hood fan, so again - we had Lenny and Dave build the hood fan and although it took many hours to finish, the custom finish on her hood fan is something to be desired for sure !
Once the backsplash is installed as well as her new lighting, it will all tie together and we will do a follow up post.
She chose the warm off-white color of Pale Oak by Benjamin Moore for her cabinets and her hood fan was sprayed in Onyx (also a Benjamin Moore color) with white oak accent pieces stained in Jacobean.

This Kindersley kitchen went from the standard builder grade to a full height and custom look in just a few weeks - and for a fraction of the cost of what a custom build like this would cost!
We added boxes and new doors stacked on top the uppers, and were able to keep and re-use all the existing original cabinetry. Everything was prepped and sprayed to match in our premium industrial 2k finish.
This is an option we love being able to offer our customers - a completely upgraded kitchen for a fraction of the cost of replacing and with a high end industrial finish you can trust! :)

This Martensville kitchen got a 'glow -up' just in time for the holidays :)
The original maple cabinets had yellowed quite a bit over the years and our customers wanted to brighten things up. They chose the classic Chantilly Lace for their color and we love how it turned out.

This little kitchen got a HUGE makeover !
Our client had a small space and the layout couldn't really be changed, but the dated oak color and profile needed to be updated.

We supplied and installed new doors for her, spraying the boxes to match in a beautiful soft green called Frosted Fern by Sherwin Williams.

As always, everything was tinted to match in our premium industrial 2k finish and has the luxurious look and feel of a brand new kitchen - without the hassle and cost of completely replacing.

She loves how it turned out and so do we!
Making kitchens beautiful and our customers happy is our goal - mission accomplished ;)
