👀 This week, we were at the Norcat Studio in Sudbury, On to participate in a "Train the Trainer" session for the new Introduction to Instrumentation program

🍁This Train-The-Trainer session had instructors from coast to coast gather, collaborate & test the new labs as well as existing H&R, Motor Control, Basic Wiring & Conduit Bending

💡To cap off the week, Training Director Theo lead a tutorial and guided the others through a Q & A session on efficient training delivery & avoiding common mistakes

⚡️Always grateful for the opportunity to upskill, collaborate & bring knowledge & power back to our membership

⚡️Shout out to Milwaukee Tool for supporting our apprentices as they completed their Level 2 Safety Training

🛠️ Our apprentices were given demos, lunch & had the opportunity to try the new Milwaukee Auto Zero Conduit Bender, Strut Cutter, Conduit Cutter & other hand tools

👷‍♂️A big thank you to everyone who took the time to support our apprentices as they level up!

⚡️On Labour Day, we honour the workers before us that paved the way for us as we stand proudly beside the workers of today and set an example for every worker who follows.

⚡️We are SO PROUD to share that IBEW Local 105 apprentice ANNIE VALLIANCOURT received 🥇place at the 2026 Skills Ontario Competition!!

📸Annie is pictured here along with some of her IBEW brothers and sisters as well as with her husband Vince and her mother Manon, we share in their pride in Annie ⚡️⚡️⚡️

👏🏼We are especially proud of our apprentice Annie as she started her electrical career as one of our first Entry Pointz program participants… from there she was able to begin an apprenticeship with Local 105 where she continues to ✨shine✨

🛠️We had a productive time at the Skills Competiton, meeting new faces, connecting with other skilled Ontarians and continuing to upskill and upgrade. Thank you Skills Ontario!

👩‍🎨Calling all Local 105 designers!

🖌️Do you have what it takes to create an influential design? Can you create an iconic Training Centre Design?

🪙We are currently seeking submissions for a new Training Centre Challenge Coin. We are asking YOU to design a coin that represents the Local 105 Training Centre- you have a blank canvas to create your coin.
You can sketch your coin on paper or submit a digital design.

⚡️Please send your design to [email protected] by April 30th, 2026. We will take the top 5 designs to the May General Meeting where membership will vote.
