Happy Fall everyone!

We have had a very busy year but there is still time to get your septic tank cleaned!! The fall is a perfect time, it gets you prepared for winter.

Here are a few pictures from the past few months.

We are proud to announce our new team member, “Greta” will be starting within the next week or so as our primary truck. It’s a newer chassis and tank. We are just putting some final touches and then off to work!

Winter is not a great time to be thinking about your septic but maintenance of the system is very important. Here are a couple of tips to make sure it’s flowing.
1. Have your septic tank cleaned every 3-5 years, less if it’s a rental or you have 6 + in the house.
2. Add Bio-Clean (www.bio-clean.ca) to the system, this helps ensure everything is breaking down properly.
3. Do not use Kirkland or any 3 ply toilet paper.
4. Keep your filter cleaned every 6 months, if you have one.
5. Keep extra water from going to the system such as water softeners.
6. If you pump up (or pressure) system, regularly check your pump float and high water float are functioning.

There are many different layouts of tanks, capacties and construction material’s.

Tanks are designed to fill up and stay fill, the the water is displaced a water slowly trickles out to your absorption bed or pump chamber.

Just wanted to send a post and thank all my customers for your support throughout 2025.

We have some exciting plans for 2026 and will continue to offer all of our services.

Ever wonder why we recommend pumping your tank every 2-5 years? When we pump we are looking for issues with your tank. Also important to make all the lids exposed so we can have a look in all the openings. Case in point, this customer had their outlet baffle fall of the concrete tank (it happens in older tanks). Why is a baffle important? It keeps solids out of your field.

No problem, we can fix it if we can see it! Here is the before and after, you can see the concrete baffle in the bottom of the tank.
