Before & After (kind of): KITCHEN Ok, ok, ok this isn’t a huge makeover reveal but wanted to share anyway - what a difference removing a funky curtain, a few wild chicken statues and some fresh paint makes! Plus, us ladies risked it all, climbing those tall ladders and almost being taken out by the ceiling fan - so that alone deserves a post! The kitchen plan is still in play and will be a bigger undertaking probably this fall, but until then we will enjoy this spacious, functional and bright space!

This is Alvic the Moose. He has lived here for many years and we couldn’t bare to watch him go, so we begged him to stay when we bought the cottage - after a little persuasion and maybe some slight bribes, he agreed! Alvic is the backbone of McHarradise and a very important part of our family now! He’s our mascot and whenever we get stumped on something, we ask “What would Alvic do?”. We wanted to introduce him, as well as his hashtag to capture the many adventures of Alvic the Moose through our posts and our guests!

DREAM TEAM comin’atcha! Meet the McHarradise crew! Thought we should formally introduce ourselves 😎
We’ve got the heavy lifters, Sam & Jamie who have been slugging away at the dock and stair build - they are hard workers who enjoy a solid dad joke and more recently, stealing the wives White Claws to keep them going 💪😉 ...and the mighty ladies, Ashleigh & Rachael who have never painted so much in their lives and have learned acrobatic moves on a 12ft ladder🪜they are focusing on the interior update of the cottage while jammin’ out to solid 90’s playlists all while taking care of the kids 1003847785 snack requests 🤪

B&A: LIVING ROOM ✔️
Swipe to see the before - we’ve been busy the last 2 weeks giving McHarradise a refresh and finally (almost) finished the living room so we thought we would share our progress! I am taking a hiatus on painting for a while after this project, but it’s been so rewarding watching the space transform! Check back soon for more!
