We talk a lot about outdoor kitchens, but they really can become the heart of a backyard.

Think about your kitchen inside your home. It’s where everyone ends up. People gather around the island, someone’s cooking, someone’s sitting and chatting… and somehow the whole party ends up there.

Why should your backyard be any different?

This one has space to cook, BBQ, sit, eat, entertain and hang out — all under a covered structure so it can actually be enjoyed throughout the season.

And when an outdoor kitchen is designed as part of the landscape from the beginning, it doesn’t just feel like a BBQ stuck on the patio. It becomes a space everyone naturally gravitates toward.

The easiest part of our job? Actually building it.

Sounds backwards, right?

But by the time our crews show up on site, the hard work has already been done behind the scenes.

The plans are finalized. Permits are in place. Materials are ordered. Equipment is ready. And our crews know exactly what needs to happen.

That's when we get to do what we do best.

Don't get us wrong, construction comes with its own challenges (and plenty of surprises 😅), but good preparation makes all the difference.

**The secret to a smooth build? Everything that happens BEFORE the first shovel hits the ground.**

And trust us, there's a LOT that happens before that shovel.

This property just keeps going… 👀

This is one of those projects where every time you turn a corner, there’s something else to see.

A grand front entrance, pool and sun-tanning deck, raised veggie gardens, tennis court, fountains, a pond full of fish, and tons of privacy trees surrounding it all.

And that’s probably our favourite part about this one — we didn’t just landscape the backyard.

We worked our way from the front of the house, down the sides and all the way around, making sure every part of the property felt finished and connected.

There’s a LOT going on here, but somehow it all works together.

Definitely one of those properties you could spend the entire day outside and never really need to leave. 🙌
