This Friday Fact is in honour of Remembrance Day. Did you know the poppy was one of the first flowers to bloom on the battlefields in Belgium and France during the First World War. The lime from rubble and debris make a fertile ground for poppies to grow. Lest we forget.

Friday Fun Forestry Fact- Did you know that as per the Alberta Forest Products Association (AFPA), the forest region Grande Prairie serves has an economic output of $1.3 billion dollars? 💰💰😳
