Here is an 8x12 chimney we rebuilt. We installed a 6” ICC EXCEL stainless steel liner and an insulated thimble for the wood stove.

These new homeowners are renovating the house they just purchased. They hired us to rebuild the chimney top before the new roof was started and install a new stainless steel liner for the new oil furnace before it is installed.

We were in Lake Ainsley today to rebuild this 8x8 chimney top for a Nova Scotia Housing Grant.

The parging on this chimney held a lot of moisture and the bricks were completely deteriorated from the roofline up.

Now the roof can be finished on this side of the house.

Another before and after of a chimney top we rebuilt today. There were some old bricks blocking the chimney about half way down. We had to get them out to be able to install the stainless steel liner for the oil furnace.

A little before and after of this chimney top we rebuilt. It was too short and had problems getting a good draft at times. We extended the liner and added about 3’ to the chimney.

The roofers will now replace the shingles.

Here are a couple of chimneys we rebuilt over the last week. We also built a block firewall in a new duplex, installed a stainless steel liner for a new oil furnace, as well as swept a couple of chimneys.

We are busy setting up a few more jobs and getting as much done as we can while the weather permits.

Here is a little before and after of this chimney top we rebuilt. The roofing shingles are being replaced and we coordinated with the roofing contractor to do the chimney top before they started.
