The plant market is flooded with new names. Oftentimes though it’s pure marketing, like true pink micans or pink princess constellation. This one is also new. But I have seen a few of them and they do look different from the common ones.
Meet a new star - Philodendron Burle Marx White Lava!

I have only one. Don’t miss it!

Not every plant story should be a hero story.

This Philodendron Jungle Fever came as a freebie in one of my imports. Never really a star, weak variegation, borderline none. Then I noticed too late it had a quiet infestation. As the result tons of EFNs that turned into funky little spots on the leaves.

But somehow… I loved this plant.

I treated it, nursed it back. And now it’s paying me back. First with this inflorescence that’s been slowly developing since February. I showed you the beginning of this journey in my stories back in February. And then, if that wasn’t enough, it started pushing the most stunning multicolored variegation.

Look at it now.
Isn’t that something? Believe it or not, this is one of my favourite plants. 🌿
