Mitre mitre mitre... turned this 70s brick fireplace monstrosity into an contemporary feature piece. Scratch coat and float the brick to true it up, 1mm joints on the 12x24 hearth, 2mm joints on the vertical (cause the PRC manufactured 36x18 cannot be trusted to be square). All in about 60 linear feet of mitres. Turned out pretty good!
