Another one completed and presented to its new owner, Trooper(ret) Mark Hammond from the LdSH(RC) Mounted Troop.

This is another one that came with a bunch of new challenges like printing a horse (Sabot), doing leather work, creating the helmet and then with help of a friend being able to get the riding troop cap badge for it and the maddening challenge to get the badge onto the helmet.

I would like to thank the LdSH(RC) Mounted Troop for the donation of the horse shoe that may (or may not) have belonged to Sabot 2.0.

Thank you Quinn Hammond for trusting me to make this to commemorate your father’s time with the Mounted Troop.

Well it’s been awhile since I posted anything and with the new year still lots of orders being worked on.
I greatly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding.
If your order has been in for a while please know that I haven’t forgotten about it and I am trying to get through them as quickly as I can. Most of the orders require custom designing of pieces that noone makes for this scale of figurine. If you have any questions or concerns about your order please reach out to me.

The latest figurine finished and delivered to its surprised and deserving new owners.

I was very honoured to be asked to make this figurine for a former Canadian Forces medics family.
I was aked to create a figurine that represented a Canadian that made the ultimate sacrifice while fighting for the protection of another nation.
The figurine was to be presented to the family of Kyle Ronald Porter. Kyle was killed on 26 April 2023 while fighting with the Internationan Legion in Bakhmut region of the Ukraine. The figurine was presented on 29 Nov at a ceremony for Kyle being phostomiusly awarded the Ukrainian Canadian Sacrifice Medal by the Ukrainian Canadian Conference.

This figurine presented a few serious challenges with getting the proper uniform pattern as it is not one that is made in 1:6 scale and is not a material that is readily available so it had to be custom made then made into the uniform.

I want to thank several of Kyle’s friends for providing the pictures that I used to create this figurine.

I only hope that I was able to properly capture Kyle’s spirit for his family.

Another one done and on its way to its new owner.

This one is for a former coworker and friend Maj (ret) Connie Watson, MSM, CD. It had been in the works for a long time and let me try some new techniques like the IV’s.
I am honoured to have been trusted to make this for her and to represent just a small part of her long career and something she truly loved, being a flight nurse.

This one is for retired firefighter/PCP and Sgt (retired)
Darren Longstaff.
He had distinguished careers in all three of his chosen lines if work!
