There’s nothing quite like trading the desk for some fresh air and green grass! ☀️

We recently spent an amazing day out in the field with our COO, Cole M., and put together a quick photo collage to capture it. The day was packed with plenty of laughs, deep dives into lawn care history, and sharing a ton of turf knowledge.

It was also a fantastic chance to get to know the guy helping run the show behind the scenes. Between treating lawns, we learned all about his Operations Management background from the U of A, heard some great stories about his family, and chatted about his love for the golf course. ⛳️

The biggest surprise of the day? Finding out he’s also a talented piano player! 🎹

It was definitely a day in the field well spent with a great leader.

We are officially heading to the BBE Trade Fair for the very first time, and we couldn't be more excited! 🎪

We know last year’s event was an absolute blast, but we’re bringing that Neighbourhood Heroes energy to help make this year bigger and better than ever.

On September 4th and 5th, we’re setting up shop. Come hang out with us for exclusive giveaways, prizes, and a chat about how we can save you from shovelling this winter.

Because whether you’re in Edmonton or Beaumont, we’d all rather spend those freezing mornings sipping coffee inside while our team handles the driveway. ☕️❄️

Rain? Mud? Worms? Bring it on. 🌱

What an incredible day at our first annual tree planting event with Root for Trees Edmonton!

Our team spent the evening getting our hands dirty, learning more about Edmonton’s naturalization efforts, and helping plant poplars, birch trees, and cherry shrubs that will contribute to a greener city for years to come.

A huge thank you to our planting leaders Ayla, Natasha, and Cecilia for guiding us throughout the day and teaching us so much about the work happening across Edmonton’s natural spaces.

We’re incredibly proud to contribute, even in a small way, to the larger efforts being led by , , and Root4Trees to strengthen Edmonton’s urban forest and naturalized areas.

And yes, it rained.

That just meant more mud, more laughs, more worms, and a much more memorable day. 🌧️🌳

Community has always been at the heart of Neighbourhood Heroes, and experiences like this are exactly why. Caring for Edmonton goes far beyond the lawns we maintain. It means showing up, getting involved, learning, and contributing wherever we can.

15 hours of K-Days madness condensed into one wild day! 🎢✨

From a frantic 7:30 AM Walmart run for lawn games to watching the fireworks at 10:30 PM, the Neighbourhood Heroes team brought the energy to K-Days 2026! 💚💎

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by the Expo Centre booth to sink a putt, crush some popcorn, and talk lawn care with the crew. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
