We have extra queen cells available Sunday June 21st. These will emerge on the 22 or 23rd so no time for fooling around 😁
If you want to make some splits or replace a failing queen this is an inexpensive way to do it.

Busy day in the yard today, no video and just a few pics
Pulled a few nucs from huge colonies and added Ripe queen cells
Checked in on a bunch of hives looking for queen mating results, sadly I'm a week ahead and have to go and check again.
Added OAE strips to almost every hive
Grabbed a few mated Queen's for orders
Drilled a ProNuc for top Feeders and a tint plug to seal them back up
Pulled full, deep frames with capped honey to make space for Queen's to lay
Finally I made up 14 mini mating nucs and got the remain cells into them just in time. Several Queen's were chewing their way out of the cells. Phew, got lucky on that one... And dodged most of the rain all day

Does it get any better than Nucleus Colony pickup day? Maybe but it's one of my favourite days for sure. I get to meet lots of new beekeepers as well as a few old friends.
Happening today at 10am.
I will have a few extra so anyone looking please let me know

First pollen haul of the 2026 season, just over 20 pounds worth from mostly our double nuc hives. Lots of diversity here at the home yard, look at all those different colours
