One home. One complete comfort system.

Another full system installation completed in the Kootenays, this one pairing a Lennox two-stage furnace with a GREE 16 SEER inverter heat pump.

The goal wasn't simply to install new equipment. It was to build a system that works together to provide comfortable, efficient heating and cooling throughout the year.

The Lennox furnace gives the homeowner dependable two-stage gas heat when it's needed, while the GREE inverter heat pump provides efficient heating and cooling with the ability to adjust its output as conditions change.

This Kootenay homeowner already had central air conditioning, but there were still certain areas of the home where they wanted additional heating and cooling.

Instead of replacing a system that was already doing its job, we added a Moovair multi-head ductless system to provide targeted comfort exactly where it was needed.

That’s one of the great things about ductless systems — they don’t always have to replace your existing HVAC. They can be an excellent way to supplement it.

A furnace replacement should be about more than swapping boxes.

We recently completed this Lennox furnace installation in Creston, BC, and this home was a great example of why we take the time to evaluate the entire HVAC system before recommending equipment.

The existing furnace didn’t have the blower capacity needed to properly support the home’s existing AC system. Rather than simply replacing it with the same size, we evaluated the airflow requirements, ductwork and overall system needs and selected a properly matched solution.

We increased the furnace capacity where it was needed, but paired it with a two-stage, variable-speed system. That gives the home the airflow and heating capacity it requires while allowing the furnace to operate at a lower output when full capacity isn’t needed.

The result?

✅ Proper airflow
✅ More consistent temperatures
✅ Quieter operation
✅ Better comfort throughout the home
✅ Additional capacity when the weather demands it
✅ A complete system designed to work together

Bigger isn’t automatically better, properly sized and properly matched is better.

☕ **PROJECT HIGHLIGHT - OSO NEGRO COFFEE ROASTERS, NELSON BC**

This is one we're pretty damn proud of.

Our team recently completed a substantial HVAC project at Oso Negro Café one of Nelson's best-known local coffee shops and a Kootenay staple whose reputation reaches well beyond Nelson.

The challenge was getting more cooling into a busy, unique commercial space without compromising how the building operates.

Our solution included multiple mini-split systems along with custom sheet metal and ductwork, designed around the space to get cooling where it was needed.

And the crew absolutely nailed it. 👊

This is exactly the kind of project we want WCM to be known for in the Kootenays not just swapping equipment, but solving challenging heating, cooling and mechanical problems for local businesses.
