Question: Is your downspout helping or hurting your property?

If water is being dumped from your downspout too close to your home, or in a way that doesn’t help it drain away, it can create pooling exactly where you don’t want it (on your lawn or landscape beds).

Top dressing and Seeding

Fall is the most effective time to thicken turf. Our crew spreads a thin compost layer, overseeds with a premium blend, and applies starter fertilizer so your lawn roots before winter and pops in spring.

Why fall? Warm soil + fewer weeds = ideal germination and rooting.

Will it look messy? A light, even layer; any visible compost settles after first watering/rain.

When will I see sprouts? Typically 7–14 days, weather-dependent.

Watering? Keep surface moist (light, frequent watering) for 2–3 weeks, then shift to deeper/less frequent.

Mowing? First mow when new grass reaches 3–3.5"—use sharp blades.

Foot traffic? Minimize on newly seeded areas for 3–4 weeks.

Pets/kids? Safe after watering in; avoid heavy play until established.
