Those who know me or have hired me for rodent management know that I specialize in rat trapping. I never use poison baits or rodenticides. My commercial snap traps are in pet and wildlife safe rodent designed locked boxes that are monitored for removal and disposal.

Bats in BC are protected. If you are having a bat issue please contact https://bcbats.ca/ I do not do any type of bat removal. BC bats website has detailed information on removing a bat safely from your home.
Permanent removal usually means waiting for them to leave on their own in the fall when they leave to go hibernate. Then you can close off their access points and prevent them from entering in the spring.
Providing bat houses can give them a place of their own and they are great to have around for mosquito control.

Moles and ground squirrels. Getting a lot of calls about dealing with them. I am in the process of changing tactics and looking for long term solutions. I believe it will always be a joint effort with clients to manage these troublesome little guys. More information to come.

As a rat scurries across the alley like nobodies business he was probably out snacking in gardens. North Castlegar. They are everywhere now. Please do not use poisons or rodenticides. Smart informed trapping is the only solution that truly works for the community.
