🔧 Too Much Oil? It Can Cause More Problems Than You Think!

During a recent generator service, we found that too much oil had been added to the engine, resulting in oil contamination of the air filter. As part of the service, we replaced the air filter to help ensure the generator can breathe properly and operate as it should.

This is a great reminder that more oil isn't better! Always check the manufacturer's recommended oil level and avoid overfilling.

Regular maintenance helps catch small issues before they become bigger—and more expensive—repairs. 💪

Some calls we receive are for generator relocations to bring an existing installation up to code.

This generator was located too close to an intake vent, so it needed to be relocated. As a general requirement, the generator’s exhaust must be a minimum of **5 feet away from any intake vent, window, or door**.

Proper generator placement is important for both safety and compliance.
