Couple of job progress photos.

Bit of LP board and batten and some vinyl.

Our board and batten project downtown required us to install 3/4” rainscreen on the cinder block walls. A building wrap/membrane was not necessary since the cinder block is already waterproof. We installed the rainscreen with Tapcons and then added a flashing break. We installed our panel with 1-1/4” HDG roofing coils and the battens with 15ga stainless steel nails.

At one of our vinyl re-side projects we are getting close to completion. We installed new patios door this past week and we will be framing a couple walls for some new windows this week and continuing on with the siding.

Repairing a rotted out corner on this house.

Replacing some rotted fascia on a house we are re-siding. Sometimes you run into funny details and have to get creative to replace what was existing and this was one of them.

Quick tip for installing window and door trims - tack everything off with an 18ga or 16ga before you permanently nail them on. This way you can make adjustments and shim them easily.
