Late winter / early spring is one of the best times to prune many trees before leaves come out.

One thing I see a lot around Calgary this time of year 🌲

Trees that look healthy but actually have quite a bit of deadwood hiding in the canopy.

After winter and strong winds, those branches can start dropping — sometimes onto fences, roofs, or parked vehicles.

A quick prune can often prevent bigger problems later and keep the tree looking clean and healthy.

If anyone ever wants a second opinion on a tree on their property, feel free to send a photo or ask a question. I’m always happy to take a look.
