There are projects that remind us why we started building saunas in the first place.
Creating spaces where people can gather and reconnect has always been the foundation behind every design we create. Every project matters deeply to us, but every so often we’re invited to be part of something that carries a significance far beyond the build itself.
We’re incredibly honored to contribute to the Tḱemlúps te Secwépemc Healing House.
This is about so much more than a sauna. It’s about creating a space that will support healing, connection, ceremony, and community for generations to come. We recognize the responsibility that comes with being trusted to play even a small role in something so meaningful, and we don’t take that trust lightly.
Healing happens in community and we are honored to help build a place where healing happens.

The Golden Girls of the Sauna🔥
My Aunty Dawn turns 79 today! My mom, 71 this year!
They’ve been saunaing for over 32 years together. In their golden years they are still laughing, still sweating and still so very young at heart. Proving that sauna is a ritual for any age.
Thank you both for being inspiring role models and Happy Birthday Aunty Dawn!

Would you… go naked?
In Finland, sauna bathing n**e is a tradition passed down from generation to generation. It encourages people to view their own bodies, and those of others, naturally and with respect.
In the sauna, there’s no need to compare or impress. Everyone can simply relax and be comfortable as they are.
**Thinking of braving your birthday suit? **
A couple of sauna etiquette essentials:
• Always shower before entering the sauna.
• Sit on a small towel or seat cover for hygiene.
• Respect the people around you, sauna nudity is about comfort, not attention.
*Although sauna culture is evolving and growing in Canada, generally speaking, unless you’re in a private sauna most saunas here require a bathing suit!
