That’s a wrap on another year for the Shawnessy Christmas Craft Fair! We want to extend an incredibly heartfelt THANK YOU! to everyone who came out to enjoy a day of festive holiday shopping and for supporting our wonderful local vendors! We saw almost 1,200 people come through the doors, and so many smiling, happy faces! To our vendors, we appreciate all the time and effort you put into your craft, and we thank you for joining us this year. We hope everyone has a safe and joyous holiday season, and we’ll see you all again next year! 🎄🎄🎄

Shawnessy Christmas Craft Fair Vendor Profile | Naturals

We're sneaking in one last vendor profile, just under the wire! We're pleased to welcome back Hillcrest Naturals to tomorrow's Christmas Craft Fair!

Hillcrest Naturals was born in the Rocky Mountains of Crowsnest Pass, Alberta in 2015 and is a partnership between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law who together developed a line of quality bath & body care items. Each item is crafted by hand and in small batches with no harmful additives.

All ingredients are locally sourced, sustainable and all-natural. We are proud that 95% of our products are vegan (honey, goats' milk, beeswax are the exceptions). Our small but mighty team makes all items, design the labeling and package all goods in house. Cold-process bar soap, body lotion, creams and lip balms are favourited by many.

Suzanne & Stephanie are grateful to our communities for supporting local artisans and hope you enjoy our product line.

Come join us TOMORROW! as we welcome to the historic Shawnessy Barn. We've got two floors of local vendors, all here for your holiday shopping enjoyment!

Shawnessy Christmas Craft Fair Vendor Profile | B & A Wood Designs

We are thrilled to welcome B & A Wood Designs to the Shawnessy Christmas Craft Fair this year!

"B & A Wood Designs is a Calgary based custom woodworking business specializing in handcrafted kitchenware and small gift items. We offer a wide range of cutting boards, from compact serving trays to intricate mosaic style end grain butcher blocks.

What makes our products truly special? Every piece is made from reclaimed wood. We source offcuts and discarded lumber from local shops around the city, which are then rescued from burn piles and transformed into functional works of art.

We’re proud to be a young business in every sense. B & A is run by Bryce Lynch, a cabinetmaking apprentice at SAIT, and Andrew Brose, a business administration student majoring in accounting, also at SAIT. Our journey began back in Grade 12 when a finance class project challenged us to start a business for extra credit. That spark turned into something much bigger.

Markets like the Shawnessy Craft Fair have always welcomed us with warmth, and we love connecting with new faces in the community. We’re excited to celebrate the holiday season with you and share our passion for craftsmanship and sustainability.

We're pleased to have Valley Fern Creations joining us again this year at the Shawnessy Christmas Craft Fair next Saturday, November 15th!

"I started working with Fine Silver Precious Metal Clay in 2015 and fell in love with the medium. The silver clay processes have allowed me to transfer my design ideas into pure silver!
It is a very rewarding experience to see someone wearing a piece of jewellery I created and to witness their enjoyment of the jewellery."

Shawnessy Christmas Craft Fair Vendor Profile | Beach Unique

Beach Unique is back at the Shawnessy Christmas Craft Fair with a beautiful assortment of glass bead items: hanging ornaments, suncatchers, garden stakes, beaded pictures and beaded plant hangers!

All items are made with glass beads, crystals or semi-precious stones. They'll also have a selection of hand-sewn, soft cotton, baby burp cloths available at their booth! Great gift ideas galore!

Shawnessy Christmas Craft Fair Vendor Profile | Wild Heart

Joining us for this year's Fair, please help us welcome Wild Heart Fused Glass!

‘Wild Heart Fused Glass’ features the uniquely hand-crafted designs of artisan Michelle MacDonald from Airdrie, Alberta. With a love of art and color, Michelle enjoys creating ‘one of a kind’ jewelry pieces that ‘pop’ with unique color palettes and layered textures or show the simplicity of classic elegance.

The beauty of the glass art is also captured in the designs of other fun creations of Christmas ornaments, home decor themed lanterns, garden stakes, coasters and charcuterie/cheese boards.

What began with dabbling in classes in fused glass and mosaics has become a love for everything glass and a ‘happy place’ of creativity to share with others! Shawnessy Christmas Craft Fair Vendor Profile | Beach Unique

Beach Unique is back again to showcase stunning crystal, glass and semi - precious stone creations at the Shawnessy Christmas Craft Fair on November 16th!

Each of their items is handmade and one of a kind. From crystal suncatchers and mini ornaments to garden/plant stakes and unique, dangling bead pictures, they have a variety of items to choose from. Christmas garden stakes can add a permanent gift to a Christmas poinsettia! Come pick one up and have that perfect gift for a loved one, or even one for yourself!

Come see Beach Unique at the historic Shawnessy Barn in two weeks - we'll be there from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is free with a donation to the Calgary Food Bank.
