This was 💣.kom!! 🤤 Probably my new favorite breakfast bite: everything bagel, garlic & herb shmear, Hungarian salami, topped with a big pinch of broccoli micros (could have used two pinches but theres always tomorrow)

With incredible amounts of Vit C and being very high in fiber means that Red Cabbage boosts both our immune system and cardiovascular health.

It is also among a number of microgreens found to have anti-cancer compounds that stimulate certain enzyme activity and inhibit the growth of tumors.

We've decided to mix our broccoli and red cabbage to create our NEW immune boosting Brassica Blend. Jess has just a few containers of this left at The Mane Attraction Hair Studio in Red Deer so stop in and grab one before they are gone!

It's been dubbed a Nutritional POWERHOUSE and it's one of our favorite greens to grow and eat!

It grows very quickly and has a unique combination of elevated micronutrients (including vitamin A, C, & K, as well as calcium and iron) that make it stand out as one of the healthiest microgreens out there.

Just in the last week I've enjoyed them on a grilled Buffalo chicken sandwich, wrapped em up on taco night, and gorged myself today at lunch on the leftover BBQ pork w/caramelized onion and apple 🤤🤌

With so much nutrition and even more flavour packed into every bite, the Daikon Radish is counted at our house as a superfood. Super healthy and super tasty!

Onions finally all fell over at the start of this week so I pulled them all yesterday as well as some garlic and prob 1/3 of the potatoes I planted.

Onions will dry for two days on a rack then I'm going to attempt to braid them for curing, garlic will just be cured on the rack, and potatoes will dry on the rack for a couple days then into the root cellar for storage.

We probably owe you one!! We got really excited about these compostable bags earlier this month and after testing them out using some lettuce in our own fridge we couldn't wait to get our microgreens into them!

Unfortunately, we did not account for the increased mass with our denser, heartier microgreens. The way these bags are designed do allow them to breath better but we've noticed they also started pull the moisture from the greens resulting in more condensation inside the bags, compromising freshness and fridge life.

‼️ If you bought greens from us at last Friday's market and didn't get to enjoy fresh crunchy greens PLEASE reach out via DM or email so that we can get you a fresh replacement‼️

While this is a set back in our pursuit to deliver a a great product to you all we will continue to search for a reliable means of sustainable packaging. I'm in contact with the same company and getting a few samples or other compostable containers to try.

In the meantime, and in order to deliver greens that stay fresh as long as possible, you may see us temporarily switch back to plastic containers until we've been able to thoroughly test some other compostable or biodegradable packaging.
