We are a sidewalk management company whose specialty is eliminating trip hazards when sidewalks heave and buckle. We’re based in southwestern Ontario with an office in the GTA.
If you’re looking for a concrete job opportunity, consider joining our team as a Sidewalk Cutter.

Our Sidewalk Cutters drive a pick-up truck and operate a patented saw, mounted behind a compact tractor, which cuts sidewalk panels flush, eliminating trips and falls.
You’re our ideal candidate if you provide consistently superior client service, have a valid G license, a clean and clear driving abstract, a pair of Safety Boots and appropriate work clothes. You’re physically fit, enjoy being outdoors regardless of the weather and can work independently with little supervision. You’re free to travel to our municipal client sites which are located mainly in southern Ontario, you could also be assigned to work anywhere in the province; some stays could last weeks at a time.

Before you hit the road, we provide you with training (paid) for our unique process. Then you earn according to the number of cuts you complete each week; the more you cut (quality counts as much as quantity!), the more you’re paid. You’re also provided with a truck and fuel, hotel expenses and a daily meal allowance. Equivalent pay of $30 per hour.

The best method to eliminate airborne silica dust is dust suppression through wet cutting. Sidewalks Plus prides itself on using water as its primary dust suppression while repairing all trip hazards. The Minimum Maintenance Standards for sidewalks (O. Reg. 239/02, s. 16, Table) dictates the frequency of inspecting sidewalks for surface discontinuities. Once a surface discontinuity over two centimetres has been discovered, it must treated within 14 days. Sidewalks Plus prides itself on assisting Municipalities in meeting the Minimum Maintenance Standards to keep the community sidewalks safer for the public.
