Our artist spotlight today is on BAS member, Alison Storey.
Says Alision, “This year I have been concentrating on using the papers I printed from my recently acquired Gel Plate. It’s always a surprise to see the results. Here are some of the Collages that will be framed and included in our upcoming show this September.”

BAS member Marcel Lepage started painting after retirement. He was born and raised up north in Sudbury.

“I was always fascinated by the 'white' forests. So I started painting birch trees...and slowly trying to attempt new sceneries and techniques”
“ I moved to Brockville a few years ago and really enjoy it here.
Painting, eventhough frustrating at times, challenges my creative juices and allows me to observe nature and appreciate it more .”

BAS member, Jacqueline Biggs has over 60 years in the industry and has shown her work in international exhibits, specifically in Europe.

She is predominantly a watercolourist, but also works in pastel, acrylic and pencil.
She says “Portraits, landscapes, 1700s and 1800s artists inspire me greatly”.

Our artist spotlight today is on BAS member, Wayne Smith. Wayne is completely self-taught and his medium of choice is acrylic. His passion is to paint landscapes. He has developed into a realist painter and enjoys re-creating the beauty of many local scenes most of which we all perhaps take for granted.
