Work hard. Make time for what matters. 💫

This is a big part of why we do things the way we do at Cory Clayton Plumbing. We know firsthand how important it is to be able to put the tools down, spend time with your family, make memories, and enjoy the things you’ve worked hard for. 🙌🏽

That’s a big reason we don’t believe in overcharging or adding things people don’t need. We know what it’s like to work hard for your money, and we respect that. 👏🏼

We’ll take care of your plumbing like we’d take care of our own — fair, honest, and without the unnecessary extras.

Because work is important. But it’s not the whole point. 🛠️❤️

A look at this clean, organized water manifold installation! 👀

This setup provides a central point for controlling and distributing water throughout the system, with individual lines running to their designated fixtures. The result? Better organization, easier servicing, and individual shut-offs when maintenance is needed.

We take pride in more than just making things work, we care about how the finished job looks too! Even the plumbing you’ll rarely see should be installed with care, precision, and attention to detail.

From new builds to renovations and everything in between, we’re here to get the job done right. 🔩💦

Good plumbing shouldn’t just work. It should make sense. 👌 👨🏻‍🔧

A LOT of plumbing happens before the walls ever go up! 🔧

Here’s a look at some of the underground plumbing on a recent new build. From carefully planning the layout to digging, running and connecting all the underground lines, getting everything right at this stage is key to a smooth build down the road. 🙌🏽

Most of the work will soon be covered up but we’ll know it’s there, doing its job for years to come! 💧🏡

We love being part of a project from the ground up.

💧 Fun Fact Friday! 💧

Did you know that long before modern PVC and copper pipes, many cities actually used hollowed-out logs wrapped in wire as water mains? 🪵

That's right! In the late 1800’s and early 1900's logs were carefully bored through the center and connected end-to-end to create underground water distribution systems. Some of these wooden pipes lasted for over 100 years, and believe it or not, a few are still being uncovered during construction projects today!! We have attached some real life photos from more recent projects in Canada.

The pipes are wrapped in a steel wire. When they get wet and filled with water they swell, so that creates the seal. They put tar around the outside in order to help preserve and age the pipe. 🙌🏽

We've certainly come a long way from wooden water mains, but it's a fascinating reminder of how plumbing has evolved over the centuries.

Happy Fun Fact Friday from all of us at Cory Clayton Plumbing! 🔧💧

Have you ever seen an old wooden water pipe before? Let us know in the comments! 👇

Not every plumbing job happens inside a building! 🌊🔧

We were called out to investigate low water pressure at the far dock slips. After some troubleshooting, we located the culprit—a crushed water line feeding the docks. We replaced the damaged section of pipe, restoring proper water flow to all the slips. 💧

We have to admit... helping our customers while spending the day by the lake is one of our favourite "offices." 😎🚤

No matter where the problem is, we're always happy to find the solution. 👨🏻‍🔧
