When you think of "modular construction", do you picture a box? Well, we'd challenge you to think again, because here at ANC, we create custom modular solutions in all shapes and sizes.
Because our modules are built with steel frames, we can carry larger spans and heavier loads than most people expect from modular construction. That opens the door to spaces that don't fit the typical modular mould, like taller industrial or commercial buildings, large open meeting rooms and classrooms, shop and garage areas attached next to offices or common services, storage above office spaces, and so much more!
One of our recent projects is a great example of this. Our client needed to expand their existing facility with large open areas for technical equipment, training spaces and round-the-clock operations. So our team designed a custom system that combined volumetric modules with factory-built wall panels and roof modules, engineered to span the open spaces the building needed.
All 14 components were fabricated in our factory in six weeks and installed on site in just four days. Site connections and finishes followed, tying the new space into an existing building that stayed fully operational throughout the entire process. The result is a ~4,700 sq. ft. addition with flexible training, technical and office spaces.
