In the County of Brant, we receive our fire protection from volunteers, who often respond to emergencies in their own private vehicles equipped with flashing green lights.

A green flashing light is used to alert motorists that the vehicle is on its way to an emergency and to please safely yield or pullover.

Seconds count in a fire or rescue situation, and time lost from traffic congestion can make a difference. Your cooperation is crucial.👩‍🚒🧑‍🚒

The flashing green lights let other motorists know they are en route to an emergency.🚒🔥

When you see a flashing green light, please safely pull over or yield to let the vehicle pass.

Every second counts when responding to an emergency and the difference of a few minutes could be life or death.⏱
