I'll be joining a wonderful group of practitioners on Saturday, July 11, for Messages from the Universe: A Day of Mystical Readings and Manifesting.

Throughout the day, I'll be offering Chakra Scan Readings using the BioPulsar system. These sessions provide a snapshot of your energy system and can help identify areas that may be out of balance or in need of attention. Because these sessions are longer than my regular chakra scans, there may also be an opportunity to look at one area of your aura, which could offer additional insight into where energy may be flowing freely and where you may be feeling stuck.

The day will also feature a variety of gifted practitioners offering tarot cards, oracle cards, astrology, tea leaf, and aura readings, along with workshops designed to support your personal growth and spiritual journey.

A COOL DRINK & LEVEL HEAD - The Moon is in Leo for the day. She doesn’t come to the cool earth until tomorrow around noon when she enters Virgo. The Sun is coming to its peak…summer solstice in the northern hemisphere on Sunday. Lots of energy radiating from fire and air placements. It is heating up.

Very early this morning, the Leo Moon and Saturn in Aries were in a trine aspect. Leo Moon needs play and attention. Saturn says there are limits to how far you can go. Boo. Perhaps we can dig into our commitment to self expression…not so laise faire but with a smidge of maturity so it doesn’t go off the rails.

Mars in Ta**us is nearing the end of their time there. Itching to get moving…to get on with it. Not known for a lot of patience here, this Mars can be a little gritty and pushy. The Leo Moon and Mars square today…could be someone wants their way. Is it you?

The cards bring the cool drink and the level head.

The Star brings the soothing voice…it’s going to be ok. The Star is the inner star within you asking you to come home to yourself. You are still you no matter what the external forces are expressing. Be true to you. And try to approach the day from love’s eyes.

The King of Cups sits on their stone throne in turbulent water. Not disturbed. Not rattled. The King of Cups has seen a lot in their lives and they keep a close rein on their feelings. This King is a valuable ally and mentor. Let us feel our feelings and know what they are about before we respond, not react.

Keep your head about you today. While everything around you could be swirling, come home to yourself. Where can you land within you that is a safe place to express from? Find that place today.

SEEING THE WHOLE - The Moon landed in Leo about an hour ago…the Sun’s landscape. Venus is here enjoying the spotlight this week. The Leo Moon for her part occults Venus today…rides across her in the sky. What pleasures are present for you today? Do they still sing with the Venus/Neptune trine? Mmmmm…feels lovely, doesn’t it?

Not only will the Leo Moon join with Venus but she will speak to all the outers…Uranus in Gemini, Neptune in Aries, and Pluto Rx in Aquarius. Fun fact…the Leo Moon rides over Venus, then opposes Pluto Rx in Aquarius. Ten minutes later, Venus opposes Pluto Rx too. We are riding with our inner desire today.

Pluto has a tendency to turn over rocks in our garden. You know the ones…the ones that have been in place for a long time. We turn them over and there are dozens of creepy crawlers present. Ewwww. Am I right? It’s the same with our inner worlds. There is always a shadow to our light. The Lord of Hidden Things asks us to bring our light to that shadow.

You cannot charm it away. You cannot turn away. Something you value shows you its underside. Something you value shows you what it costs to carry. This isn’t meant to diminish. We are brought to awareness and confrontation with the whole.

The Seven of Wands asks if you need to bring stronger boundaries forward. There are choices in this card. Integrity choices. Your truth belongs to you. Even its underside. The part you don’t show anyone. You are you…all of your parts. Even the Seven of Wands protector parts.

The Ten of Cups asks you if you feel fulfilment in these choices. How do you want to feel? Your personal vision of fulfilment comes here in this card. You may not feel it now but how do you want to feel in the future? Sometimes we get tied to another’s vision of happy. Time to decide for yourself what that will feel like for you.

When we are able to see the whole of us…even the shadow bits…we come to understand ourselves better, to love ourselves better. Cuz isn’t that kinda the point? Showing ourselves love so others will know how we want to be loved ✨

INNER MYSTERY - The Moon slipped into Cancer yesterday morning. She will be resting with ease here for another 24 hours. While the Cancer Moon is at home, we too can feel at home in our bodies. We can feel the ease of our waters. It is also possible to feel everything and to know intensely when something doesn’t feel easeful. Such is our time with the Cancer Moon.

We can fill our cups….or not.

The Cancer Moon will communicate with Saturn in Aries in a square…this, not that. She visits with Mercury, who will be here in Cancer until mid July, so words make their way from your heart to your voice. And this evening a sextile with Mars in Ta**us…a door opens and we can see what is true.

The cards are emotional. The Ace of Cups, a gift from the Divine. Fill up. Feel it all. Then, the Eight of Cups…filled your cups and ready to move on.

The Ace of Cups brings into focus your heart’s longing. It can be a wee bit vulnerable to speak your longing into reality. Love, love…where is my love?

The Eight of Cups asks what is not working. Perhaps it’s something or someone you have poured your energy into. Is it sustainable? No? Give yourself permission to walk away.

Venus is highlighted this week…of course she is 😉…she is in Leo. Venus will make us aware of what resonates and what does not. Venus is applying to a trine with Neptune in Aries, exact just after midnight. Your big, beautiful dream grabs your attention and you swoon with it, effortlessly, with ease.

Dip yourself into what feels good and turn from what does not. Your own inner mystery, your inner waters, rise up today. ✨

HAPPY GEMINI NEW MOON - The Gemini Moon & Gemini Sun will come together tonight to initiate another lunar cycle. This one culminates at the Capricorn Full Moon on June 29 and then finishes up with the Cancer New Moon on July 14. We can also look beyond to six months down the road at the Gemini Full Moon in Capricorn season. Or, if your intentions might take more time to manifest into reality, take it out to the Gemini New Moon in 2027.

Some things move quick, or, with a moderate pace, and even, a slow long brew. You decide. Your pace is sacred.

The Lovers card is one of union and commitment. Of course, it can indicate a union of lovers. But I like to ponder on the bonds we make with ourselves. The commitments we make to our lives and in doing so, to each other.

Mercury rules Gemini. The messenger planet is in Cancer slowing down and in shadow. The Magician is their card in the tarot. You have all the tools you need for any occasion. You can choose to use whatever tool fits, in your opinion.

Uranus is co-present with the new moon. The sideways orbiting awakener…The Fool in the tarot is their card. We are ready for another journey, a new adventure. It can feel exciting to consider and also kind of scary when we think of all the what ifs.

Choose your adventure…short, moderate, or long. Up to you. You are in the driver’s seat this time. Could be time to level up, dust yourself off, and just do a thing…if only because you want to return to that commitment that you made to yourself ages ago. It’s time. ✨

WAVES OF DIRECTION - Rainy, overcast day in the Cape today. Feels like under the covers curled up with a book kinda day. The Ta**us Moon is void in the sky…not aspecting any planetary bodies. She will enter Gemini in a couple of hours, just after 10am.

In true Gemini fashion she will connect with those around her. The Gemini Moon gives a nod to Venus as both cross into new territory. She meets in conjunction with Uranus. There is another nod to Neptune in Aries and a trine to Pluto Rx in Aquarius before her day is done. For us, we can feel our connections to be far away, out there in the airwaves. Could be a little challenging to keep your feet on the ground.

Venus entered Leo a little before 8am this morning. She will be here for only a few weeks. Here, Venus is bold, brave. A little bit dramatic. Here, we may want to show outwardly our affection for others. Our hearts a little more visible. We show our pleasure and our displeasure 🤭 We give openly. 🫶

I said hey Tarot Obscura what cha got for today? The Six of Swords and the Knight of Wands. Both are cards of decisiveness & direction. One in the mind and one in the heart. Where we headed, sweet people?

The Six of Swords asks for a change in perspective. Perhaps you have been involved in something that feels more like chaos. Maybe it’s time to gather all the people involved and decide on a clear path. Get it out in the open. The backdrop of the tent serves as protection and the central figure in the card represents leadership. Time to stand up and lead.

The Knight of Wands is ready for action, for clarity, and mission go time. Dramatic and dynamic, they are forward focused. Meaningful results come from a clear mind and a truthful heart.
