We are hiring:
NWR Maintenance & Construction operates in industrial construction jobsites. NWR strives to promote a healthy life/work balance with all our team members.
Must be willing to work out of town and in remote locations and willing to work overtime, as required. Work shifts are usually 14 days on/7 days off: 10-12 hours per day, depending on the project, residing in camp
Positions available are:
• General Labourer
• Skid steer Operator
• Telehandler Operator
• Loader Operator
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
• Operate equipment safely and appropriately, maintaining proper awareness of one’s surroundings while operating.
• Assist with maintenance and fueling of equipment when necessary.
• Report any equipment deficiencies to the supervisor.
• Keep tools and equipment in a clean, well-maintained fashion.
• Maintain communications with all the equipment operators to ensure they know where you are at all times. Be aware of all other people and equipment working in the area.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, grease, and refill equipment.
• Conducts pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and reports any maintenance concerns with the equipment.
• Carry out all daily services to the equipment used, including general maintenance such as oil/filter changes and minor repairs to equipment when required.
• Be aware of and communicate with all other people and equipment working in the area.
• Contribute toward the overall success of the safety program by following set rules, procedures, and practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Experience working in a construction environment.
• General construction experience with prior experience operating equipment
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• First Aid is an asset.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$42.00 per hour
Schedule:
• 14-7 Shift
• 10-12 hours per day, depending on the project
• Day shift
• Night shift (2$/hr Premium)
Licence/Certification:
• Class 5 Licence (preferred)
• H2S Alive
• WHMIS 2015
• CSTS
